Imagine waking up to the view of lush landscape, the sound of birds as you make your morning coffee. A few steps away you have breakfast in the garden, then a quick dip in the pool. Dispersed light and shadows fill the hallways as you do your meditations.  Working from home doesn't feel constricting; the sound and smell of the rain as you play somber music on the piano. 

These are some of the scenarios we pictured out as we designed House RL. It was exciting to see the design unravel with the unique space requirements and inputs of our client. Designing for a large family, we fought to create spaces not only for gathering and bonding, but enough nooks and corners for them to enjoy solitude and privacy. We remember what our clients said when we first showed them the house design — it stands out not by adding elements but by its subtlety. It doesn't scream for attention, yet you are enticed to look a second time. Another project to look forward to!
